While none of these pictures were actually taken on Mardi Gras, I think they capture the essence of the city I knew far better than the full color boobie shots taken on Bourbon street. I know you'll appreciate that I didn't gratuitously include them. That I couldn't find that particular album has nothing to do with it.

My ankle's feeling better, thanks, and I'll be leaving for CT the day after tomorrow. You'll be filled in on my trip and my new job when I return on Monday!
