she · verb; the poker diaries

11.20.04

One of the best nights ever! Bought into the home game for $20 and took home $60.25 on top of that. I think some  of that is due to the relative inexperience of a few of the players that have been showing up and some due to just dumb luck.  (Read: It's all dumb luck.)

I hate getting too cocky about my play, but between my online bankroll and my home game bankroll, I'm up over to $1,200. I cashed out of PartyPoker and purchased a new computer--the old one was just too slow and buggy to effectively play multiple tables online. I considered it an investment.

The trouble is, I'm barely playing online anymore! Where once I used to be jacked into PartyPoker nearly every night, I'm lucky if I get in once a week now.

Of the five home game tourneys I've played so far, I've placed third once and second twice, netting me $200 excluding the buy ins.

Okay. I'm on a rush. It can't last. (Please, Poker Gods, let it last! I'll be humble. Really, I will.)
